I wear glasses, so I simply use a 35mm lens with goggles for M3 on a Leica M5. This combination reduces the accuracy of the rangefinder (just as it does on an M3) but it is accurate enough so far as I can tell. In the case of the M5 you also get the bonus of the metering field visible in the finder. You may want to give it a try, it works for me.
