Couldn't agree more, Robert. The "Darkroom" books are a wonderful source of
information for the printing techniques of a number of fantastic
photographers, a glimpse into the otherwise private space of the darkroom
printer.

P.S. Lustrum Press was founded by Ralph Gibson in the early '70s, if I am
not mistaken. Its first titles were probably his trilogy, though he also
did a number of wonderful books (the darkroom books are among them),
notably one by Mary Ellen Marks (were she and Gibson ever an item?) and one
by Larry Clark, "Tulsa," which has just been reprinted in a facsimile
edition by a publisher whose name I've forgotten.
