Not in developed countries, as careful examination of demographics and life
histories demonstrates.  As I've said, virtually no one with a modicum of
intelligence and any options at all voluntarily chooses to clean toilets or the
equivalent.  But this is really very peripheral to the nominal purpose of this
list, I think.

See above.  It's often useful to read carefully _before_ giving free rein to
one's emotions.  The most emotional reactions to my posts usually come from
those who have apparently spent the least amount of effort reading them.  It's
unfortunate because it distracts from the topic at hand.
