We were discussing on the price and he very nicely informed me that it can be found in Germany (on e-bay) for 1,700 USDollars. Now, I saw it in the States being sold (mint) for between 3,000 and 5,000 dollars. The price of the new modular one ranges around $7,500, so I was wondering why it can be so undersold so much in germany. For a good item, sold used but in mint condition, one should ask about 1/2 the price of the original new, but here it seems that such rule does not apply. After all, aren't Leicas famous for not depreciating? It seems like that Leica (at least this kind of lens) is not worthy its price. Or are things changing also in the Leica market? At this point, it seems that the only long-term investement only applies to rare M6s or alike? Hope I am wrong. What do you think? Have a great day, folks Andrea
