I accessed my internet bank account for a statement last week and was informed that they could no longer communicate with my antique software and they sent me a URL to go get an up to date version. Duly went there and it turned out to be Microsoft so I clicked away and was about to download IE version 5. Crikey, they wanted 100 Meg free disc space so I spent another hour or two deleting files I never used but know, in all probability, I will need next week at least. Then I downloaded IE5. Took three hours. When Microsoft handed my system back to me I couldn't find my email program. Instead I had a thing called Outlook Express. Not only that but my address book was missing so I couldn't get back to my bank. Apt office pin-up joke. Its difficult to remember when you are up to your neck fighting alligators, that your original intention was to drain the swamp. Alan
