Subject: [Leica] Architects, the Division of Labour and gen-x recidivism

Kyle Cassidy ended a post with

>archetects don't build their own bridges.

And why not?
How many would like to build their own bridges if they could?
Hundertwasser said something along the lines of*

"Only when the designer, builder and occupier are one and the same person
can it be called architecture. All else in the manifestation of a criminal
act."

Hey, you could build a whole political movement on this.
Oh look, someone already has.

Regards,
Malcolm

*I have almost certainly got the words wrong - though it is only about 30
years since I read them.
