I said that the Leica eyepiece already had a -0.5 diopter built into it. I just read in Kisselbach's book on the then current R4 that it had a -1.0 diopter built into its eyepiece. This makes me wonder if the M6 might have the same -1.0. If anyone can find out for sure, it would probably be of general interest. I apologize for any confusion I may be causing with this. Also, for someone who wears bifocals or trifocals, how do you decide what parameters to use for the correction lens on the eyepiece? - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Julian Koplen" <jkoplen@mindspring.com> To: <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Sent: Thursday, August 09, 2001 22:41 Subject: Re: [Leica] correction lenses > The correction lens for my M6, with diopter and astigmatism correction, was > ground by an optician in Michigan, recommended to me by the Leica USA parts > person.
