- --Since I sense a MAJOR debate warming up over BW printing (who does it)--

I'm not sure what this was supposed to mean - are you implying nobody does
black and white printing anymore?

Personally, one of my favorite parts of the process is being in my darkroom.
Its very peaceful and fulfilling to me. I have always loved printing, and
one of the reasons I own my Leica is that it is much more enjoyable to print
fine negatives. I also do my own color printing, but I have access to a
color processor at a local .edu which helps that process. Gee, no trays, am
I not a real artist?

I won't enter the upcoming debate on printing (except for the above snide
remark :-) I'm glad people choose a variety of methods of working, and
hopefully it will broaden our discussions about photography, not just cause
Usenet type rantings. Which is why I thought this group would be a better
place to converse.
