Hi folks,

I have a Summicron-R 50mm f/2 which is surplus to requirements.  It has
never been used except when mounted onto a camera once to ensure it works.

I would like to trade this in for the 19/2.8 or 180/2.8 APO - considering
these optics cost upwards of £2,000, would it not be reasonable to ask
somewhere close to the 50mm's new value?  What is other LUGgers' experience
when doing this?

Any advice appreciated,
