Adam,

I bought a R8 in April along with the motor-drive, 2.8/180, 1.4/80 and
2.8/28. Compared to my R4 it's a dream camera! The camera is easy to use,
the meter is fantastic and the motor drive is (IMHO) a must. It stabilizes
the camera when using the 80mm or the 180.

I haven't tested the new 28 yet, but I use the 4/35-70mm and it is
beautiful. Very sharp, even at f4.

Things I don't like about the R8? Maybe the weight after a couple of hours
hiking in the mountains...
