Folks i think the LUG has a reputation as being a smart list.
But We have this be question going on and on about florescent lights in the
darkroom like it's big controversy or mystery.
It's a well known fact you don't have fluorescent lights in your darkroom. They
glow after they are turned off. You don't know how much they might fog your film
or paper. They add an unwanted variable to your process which can easily be eliminated.

And they will make your optical brighteners in your print glow at a hyped up
rate. You'll end up printing for most viewing conditions just too dark.
Florescent just ain't done. Everybody knows this. Listen to Tina.

If you have it in your light table like i do, four of the 4 footers, you have to
be real careful.
