Another thought on re-using chemicals: a lot of it has to do with how
frequently you use them and how careful you are. Fixer, for instance,
can of course be re-used but has a shortened life with Tmax films. Many
developers can be replenished. Using chemicals one time, at this stage,
removes an unnecessary variable. Unless you do a lot of work, the cost
is not much of a factor.
