I used to print everything 3.5 x 5 (1/2 of a 5x7 sheet) but started doing
all my work in 5x7 a few years ago. Uses more paper but is much less work in
the long run.

Problem is no photo albums in this size. So....I take my 250 sheets of
Ilford photo paper boxes and cover the tops in art paper. I store my prints
in those. The ones that are really wonderful go into plain-page albums
complete with the black photo corners. Lots of work, but worth it.
