Have you noticed how hard it is to get bokeh when you are shooting 1600 ISO film with a Summarit at f16 and at 1/1000 second, in full sunlight? GACK! True, true! I am starting to appreciate the slower films more and more!! I revisited a twenty-odd year old negative made one Sunday morning in 1979 with Panatomic-X (In Diafine- a nice combo) and have once again started to lament its passing. Since that time I learned about split printing, and optimizing print tones, and I was surprised at how nice that old negative was, and how well it printed after all these years. I was wondering if anyone has been actively exploring any slower films, and would like to expound, expand or testify? Dan (Once again thinking about being slow, but sure...)
