Dear Outraged in Boston,

Abbey can understand how you would be red faced with rage over such a simple
device available for only pennies at any True Value store even in Iowa. Yes,
I myself was flabbergasted when this ridiculously simple solution arose when
one day i was crawling around underneath my 30 year-old Alfa Romeo and
seeing the muffler to tailpipe connection made by, "blimey", a bli*)%**@ing
thin plastic strip. In a momentous moment i realized the solution to my
tabless Summicron a TIE WRAP.

In my excitement I banged my head sufficiently hard enough on the sway bar
to momentarily see stars as I bolted out from under the Alfa and jumped into
my high-end German Sport Sedan, laden with greasy hands and clothes, and
practically flew, 'though always careful to stop for children in the
crosswalks, to my local hardware store.

I rushed in with eyes ablaze, yelling out, "where are those thin plastic
thingies with the dohicky on the end?"

"Huh?" the girl said.

"Nevermind." says I, as I ran to the electrical department.

And there they were, all lined up in their respective compartments, LEICA
LENS TABS. Black ones, red ones, white ones, oops no chrome ones, oh well. I
grabbed a package of 10 for $1.29 and while maddly rushing to the checkout
grabbed a red Sharpie, which I instinctively knew i would need.

And there you have it my dearest 'Boston' a simple solution from a simple
being.

Abbey (who thinks the best solutions in life are the cheapest ones)
