1:1 for sure would be preferable over using it straight. Using it straight would
mean not very sharp results although in sheet film I'd think that would not be
that big of a deal sometimes sheet films need more sulfite to prevent aeration.

At higher dilutions Xtol would give a softer look than Rodinal gives becuae of
the lack of grain insetad of the abundance of it. The sharpness is said to be
the same. I think it's close.
