And what else?  It's still shutter, lens, and aperture.

My father used to develop and print his own black and white when I was in
diapers.  When I finally got around to doing this myself, several decades later,
we were both pleased and surprised to discover that everything still worked the
same way:  Same Tri-X (more or less), same little yellow cans of D-76, same film
cans, same agitation, as if he had only been doing it all yesterday.  It's quite
a refreshing change compared to some other domains, in which everything you
learn is obsolete before you finish the class, and change becomes an end in
itself, instead of the means to a more productive objective.
