Keep in mind that it is much more than a warranty, it covers various mishaps such as dropping the camera and all manner of other abuse--in fact, everything as long as you have the camera (or at least the piece of it with the serial no.). It is cheap insurance, works out at $33 per year or about 2% of the value of the M6.
