Luggers,
   It is amazing how many people are ready and willing to accept some half
baked story about a faked photo.
The Spanish Loyalist Soldier is REAL.
   About two years ago, he was positively identified by a relative.
   The best source on anything Robert Capa, is Richard Whelan. Richard is
the author of the Capa biography which he wrote with the full co-operation
of Bob's brother Cornell and Richard had and still has complete access to
all the Capa files.
   The original negatives from the Spanish Loyalist are long lost. All that
remains are the "scrap books" Capa kept during that time.
   Whelan was even able to pin point the date the photo was taken.
   The last time I spoke to Richard, he was hoping to do a second edition,
with the new information he has found on Bob Capa.
