That extra long felt lined hood didn't help my TE much that i could tell though.
I certainly never shot with it off but i also had a rubber one i never used much.
You'd think with a hood like that you could not even bother with a coated lens.
NOT my particular example at least. Flare are us! It' was like shooting though a
scratched acrylic lens.
