The bug-eyed Summaron will bring up the 50 frame on any M camera. The
bug-eyes change the 50mm frames optically to show the 35 field of view. If
you put eyes on a lens not designed for them, the rangefinder is optically
modified and the lens rangefinder cam will not couple correctly. I have
never seen a lens, to which bug-eyes have been added, also have a modified
lens cam. I think it could be done but perhaps the cost would be
prohibitive.
