The other possibility is that the sale is not going through his store, but through his own bank account, or a friends. He is then trying to avoid taxes in some way. Not your issue, but a problem you must deal with. Try it out.. if he refuses, I would pass on the deal.....It smells bad... BTW, the character in Switzerland did scam at least 1 buyer out of $3000.... so be careful... CC work, but other methods of payment require great degrees of trust....
