These are pretty big omissions if you rely only on the Passport warranty as your only coverage. I have my equipment covered on an "all risk" rider with my homeowner's insurance. It's not very expensive (if you're not a professional) and "all risk" means all risk - my fault or not, item recoverable or not. It doesn't cover CLAs, though.
