The cost of a 35 f1.4 ASPH lens is..... $2500 USA and $1800 Gray market. They BOTH have to be imported. Duty difference is NOT $700. Even taking into account the $200 rebate, this is price gouging. The cost of a M6 is $2000 US and $1600 Gray...... When you get the rebate thrown in, the price difference is only $200. Wonder why gray market exists? More profit in the gray stuff than in the real USA import... We get badly gouged without excuse on some items, other items are just plain priced to gouge with an excuse. The common link is gouged.
