Hi Sam,
I just wondered if this is your first Leica and that due to your
inexperience with it that many of your appeared "make it better suggestions"
are based on a 6 week learning curve?

I wont go into it further, but if this is a 6 week time frame of first
ownership you might please consider cutting the M6 some slack and learn how
to use it first, before pointing out all the faults and or improvements you
think are necessary to make it something it was never meant to be, an auto
everything snap shooter toy.

Sorry to hear about the battery problem, I imagine one of the TTL users can
answer your problem, I would, however I just use the everyday simple M6. ;-)
