I'm one who carries the same film in two bodies.  Besides not having to switch lenses as often, it helps not to have to worry about transposing f-stops and shutter speeds in my head as I go from, say, 100-speed colour slide Tri-X.  I always get it wrong, and I never seen to look at the meter until after the shot...
