I know this would come up sooner or later.

It's all down to their numbers.  I do not get all the 300 cameras (the
official agent get to keep some) and out of the ones I have received, the
numbers were not particularly to my liking.  Since Leica cameras and lenses
are mass produced items, the obvious difference among them are their serial
numbers.  I do tend to collect cameras and lenses with certain numbers.

You have to realise that the green paint cameras are not supplied in
numerical order and I cannot just wait for the right numbers to show up.

I am particularly interested in camera #033/300 on offer at present, and
likewise #024/300 a while back, since both 3 & 3 and 2 & 4 add up to six.
Likewise, I am also interested in 006/300 and 060/300.  My own camera is
#089/300.  If I don't get the numbers I want from the agent, I have no
choice but to source them from the retail sector.  Of course I will not
offer more than what they cost me.

I just wish I get to choose the numbers when I place the order, but this is
of course not an option.

BTW, I have checked with the seller and he does own the camera which is
actually available for sale.  As you know, this is not always the case with
some dishonest eBay sellers.
