Pardon? What's frivolous about Nikon's brand new FM3A, then?

Inexpensive, manual & aperture priority, TTL flash with 1/250 sync, works in
manual mode at all speeds without batteries, takes an MD12, *finally* fixes
the 'wind lever in eye' problem of the FM2a for left-eyed shooters.
Fabulous bit of kit.
