Subject: [Leica] what's the point of a leica pinhole???

why make a pinhole out of a leica body cap? firstly, the leica body cap is
twice as expensive as a nikon body cap (if not more) and secondly, you
can't see what you're shooting, it's a rangefinder. if you put a pinhole
body cap on your pentax k-1000 you can see what you're shooting though the
viewfinder, you can also use the lightmeter.....

(jem kine DID give me a leica body cap with a disposable camera lens in
it, which is pretty neat though)

also, has erwin added tests of leica pinhole lenses to the faq yet? i'd
recommend you check out the lpm on them compared to the shoebox pinhole
camera....
