Subject: [Leica] Scanning with LS-2000

I noticed that the base side of my negatives were being scratched by the
auto-strip loader. It jams so frequently that I often noticed slight
scratches on the film.

One problem though, when I try b&w neg's, I switch to grayscale mode, and
the scan software shows dark
blobs in the preview and the final scan. What's up with this?? How do you do
b&w??

Regarding the Leica chat, when was the last time Nikon or Canon offered to
involve users in future projects? Maybe in the future things will be
smoother and those looking for a platform to trash Leica will step down. The
future is far too bright to let it pass without some positive input from
Leica's most vocal users.

Dave Strang
