Hi Tom

Good to hear they are sorting out yr probs. Being bloody minded for a moment
I would have thought this sort of checking should be well within the scope
of Leica USA who are raking in 50%-100% profit margins on these items when
much of the inferior competition (Canon USA, Nikon USA etc) have to be
satisfied with a small fraction of these margins. Not to mention Leica Solms
with its much touted QC and hands-on production...

I am no stranger to the QC problems of Leica and all I can say is that if
the lenses were not so wonderful I would have moved on years ago...

I hope you get to enjoy yours very soon!
