Subject: [Leica] RE: Complaint to Germany / Leica Chat

The very obvious quirk was the tiny size of the chat window, with two
thirds of the screen being occupied by unnecessary navigation tools and
dead graphic surfaces. Then the software could'nt cope with the number
of participants who in addition could not resist in occupying bandwith
with, well, chat. It was no "moderated" chat at all!

And was it really necessary to schedule the chat at 16:00 CET which is
still within the working hours of those who can afford Leicas, in Europe
and the US?

Why Leica did not use the most established chatting facility in this
respect, the LUG, rather than setting up their own thing? They do post
their newsletters here, so I assume they sometimes read, too. They are
free to post and answer as well.
