My 55mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor is one my wife and kids normally use on a Nikon FG with store-brand color negative film. I put K25 in the FG once and immediately saw why so many Nikon users shoot with Velvia. The colors produced by the Micro-Nikkor on Kodachrome 25 was nowhere near the colors I'd become accustomed to with the Macro-Elmarit-R. I'm keeping the FG and Micro-Nikkor because it's light weight and handy especially when an inexperienced photographer wants to use it but it will always have store-brand film in it. Kodachrome deserves a Leica lens, and vice versa.
