I read somewhere that 24x36 chips are already available. Tho present Leica
lenses would be compatible with an M-type body, I think a digital-dedicated M
would probably be preferred by Leica. The M6D would be lighter and more
compact than a film M with a digital back. Besides, it would be priced like a
film M body, if Leica intended to sell them successfully. The M6D would
probably get Nikon back into the RF field. I wonder which mount Nikon would
use?
