Yeah, for an unpopular item that no one wants, they are sure
selling fast!  I reserved mine from Rich Pinto back in Nov 2K
and when he shipped it to me a few days ago it was the last
one he had.

The main reason I went for the motor rather than the rapid
winder is that it gives you the option of mounting the
motor-driven camera onto a tripod or monopod - which you
cannot do with a rapid winder.  Also, I do a lot of my
photography portrait format, which I don't consider the RW
is really designed to do.

BTW, the motor is yet to arrive.  Tracking the FedEx shipment
on their www site is pretty interesting: so far it has gone
from NYC to Memphis to Honolulu and now back to Memphis again...
