A snapshot can be a photo taken "on the fly", without much thought to technical encomberances. A snapshot can be the portrayal of an intense, elaborate, or complex scene. A snapshot can be taken with a Diana or with a Leica. A snapshot can be a work of art or a simple image. A snapshot is not a compliment nor an insult. A "snapshot" is nothing more than a "slice" of time transformed into an image for the pleasure of the photographer, viewer, and posterity. A snapshot is not worth getting upset over. Joe Codispoti
