The angle of reading is quite narrow, and you have to decide which elements of the picture in front of you, you want to measure. You can also measure the light reflected off your hand for an incident reading. So basically you take a light reading first, and then frame your picture. It works, I have more problems focusing than to get the exposure right. <g> Gerhard - -----Original Message----- From: Vick Ko <vick.ko@sympatico.ca> To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us <leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us> Date: Tuesday, March 20, 2001 9:21 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Voigtländer VC Meter >Do you mind describing how to take the reading? > >Do you frame and push a button that then "remembers" the reading, >so that when you take the camera away from your eye, you can >figure out the f-stop/shutter combination?
