Yes the M6 still has almost as many brass parts as the M3. The "cheapened"
parts are parts that under go no stress or wear (such as the frame counter
dial).

PopPhoto did an excellent article comparing the construction of the M4 to
the M4-2 in 1980 or so. If you are at all paranoid about this sort of thing,
go to your library and look it up.
