I respectfully disagree. George is new to the list and deserves to be
treated with courtesy. All he has done is asked some basic questions.
While he has received some answers, his bone fides has been unfairly and
publicly questioned.

I also see is equipment envy. Whenever someone says he/she has a lot of
equipment, that is somehow viewed as an open invitation to be rude.

Think before you type. If you have doubts about someone (unless it's
Anthony), share them privately.

a. No one said anything about your writing.
b. Google turns up reference to a George Kenny who appears to be a
"Washington writer" who "resigned in protest" as the acting head of the
Yugoslavia Desk of the U.S. Department of State specialist on Balkan
affairs - Of course, you could be the Lt. General, or you could be the
George Kenny who is the Associate Director of MIT's Materials Processing
Center. But none of any of the references suggest that George Kenney is
a photographer, so on this list, any other id is pretty much irrelevant,
as this isn't Alt.WashingtonWriters, or Alt.BalkanExperts.

c. This is generally the kind of list where people revel in shooting of
their mouths, and is most definitely not the kind of list where people
tell their "pals" to "keep it zipped." But maybe that's how U.S.
"Diplomats" talk, which probably explains a lot. Pal.
