I've been told >it would not. Guy, When I had an M6HM (not TTL) my DR would fit the camera in the normal focussing range but would not switch over to close range focussing. I took the camera and lens to the Leica agent and showed them the problem. They promised me an answer from Solms but I never got one. Eventually I sold both the camera and the lens and moved on to an M6 HM TTL. From my experience, whether the DR will work on any specific M6 Classic camera depends on the camera, My early M6 (170 serial # range) never had a problem but some friends with later M6's could not use the DR on their cameras. The only way to see if the DR works with your camera is to remove the positioning lug from the close up spectacles so you can fit them to the lens when it is attached to the camera and then cross your fingers and hope for the best. Perhaps another Lugger can help you with instructions to remove the positioning LUG. I couldn't get mine off my DR to try it on a M6HM TTL. Best Regards Howard Cummer Hong Kong
