No-one needs this. The systems are different and the cameras serve different functions. All modern lenses are capable of good to excellent performance, and it is generally regarded that Leica lenses are amongst the best available. Personal observations are of interest, but not too much beyond that. Numbers are of interest, but again not much beyond that. The art of getting the image on film is what most users are interested in, and it is that which can be altered. The performance of the lens doesn't matter as you are aiming the camera. By all means compare image quality from different lenses and makers, but lets not get in a stew about it. After all there are more important issues -- such as the passing of Don Bradman to worry about ;-0 Cheers Alastair
