I just bought a copy of *Seeing Gardens*, Sam Abell's new book. It's a
wonderfully edited collection of photos from the past 30 years. It's not a
traditional garden book. Any photo with a flower in it (patterns included)
qualified for the book. If you enjoy Abell's photography, go find a copy. I
love the book.

By the way, for those who missed it, last month's National Geographic
featured an article on Japan's Imperial Palace with Abell's photos
accompanying the text.
