Absolutely.  With this lens, most of the area outside the applicable frame lines is
blacked out, and the LEDs appear in the blacked out area at the bottom.  (The 28mm
frame is also visible at the outer edge of the viewfinder, but it's so far away from
what you're concentrating on that you don't really notice it unless you look.)
