I suspect Leica have had a lot of difficulties in making this lens, and I can understand it may be just as frustrating for them to see $$$$ flying out of their door on lost business. But then, is it really that difficult to make a 35-70/2.8 zoom lens? Perhaps a trip to Cosina is called for.....
