Of course there is the "pop" when the slides heat up - but the edge to edge sharpness on the screen is still not even - focus one area the other goes out etc. gold - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of A. I think first thing you need to do is isolate the problem. Take your slides and look at them with a loupe on a light table. If the focus is still off then problem is either you or the rangefinder on the camera, which can be easily determined. If the focus looks good on the light table then the problem is the projector. andy - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of goldframe1@yahoo.com I'm not happy with the overall results that I have been getting from my prints and/or slides taken with my M. ... My slides aren't satisfying to me either - I spent the bucks and got a Leica P300 expecting to get some great results and I'm happy with the colors but my slides are never flat and the focus is off - I adjust for one area and the other goes out of sharp focus. ... I just don't remember having such disappointing results, back when, with my Nikon shot slides and Kodak carrousel. ... Any advice - other than a couple of single malts - not that that's bad advice. gold Bo(
