Henry,

My standard film speed is 400 and I shoot exclusively b&w. I gravitate back
and forth between the following films:

Agfapan 400
HP5+
TriX

My choice for a fine grain 400 is: Agfapan (used to be Delta, but they
changed the emulsion)
My choice for a slightly grainy 400 is: either HP5+ or TriX, either of
which I'll also push to 800
If I need to push to 1600, I'll use TriX, but am trying to work with Fuji
Neopan 1600 for that speed
