Summar lens?

It's a very early Leitz photographic lens, and is known to have been
in the catalogue in 1908. So yours was presumably coated long after
being manufactured. Presumably someone who owned in in the 1940s or
1950s liked it and thought it worthwhile to get it coated.

Coverage was 9 x 12cm

Some have been in Leica screw mount. These may be adaptations of older
lenses
