Howard;
	This is really getting funny. Maybe Leica can't get the battery
drainage problem on the M6TTL fixed because they are too busy reweighing
the lenses. Or maybe they don't know how to translate arabic numerals
fron German to English.

Dear Jay,
My Leica M6 TTL Booklet printed in Germany 10/98 states:
Summilux Asph 35/F1.4                            310gms
Summilux Asph 35/F1.4 Silver chrome 415gms
Summilux Asph 35/F1.4 Titanium               415gms
Summicron Asph 35/F2.0                         255 gms
MORE (you've seen 3%):
Summicron Asph 35/F2.0 Silver chrome 340 gms

Perhaps some quality control in proof reading at Leica is needed? :)
Perhaps
the weights you are quoting are for the non Asph version of the 35
summicron?
Cheers
Howard.
