It's very rare for me to find E6 or colour neg that hasn't shifted when I work in the photo archives here (Kodachrome II still looks good :) ) - again, lugger John P is the expert here. He's my boss when I'm across there. Even on present data, looks like CD's will outlast some of this media. BTW, DVD and newer large storage may be fine - but what happens if one does roll over and die? 640mb on a CD may be bad enough, but several GB of images.... think about it. Bigger isn't always better :) Tim A
