Just as shiny >and MUCH more durable. (And in the same price range.) > >-Mark Cohen > San Francisco, CA I bought a fistful of Mont Blancs while I was working in Germany, many years ago, when the dollar was strong and the Mark was weak. I carry three in my pocket, fountain with OB nib, ball, and #9 pencil. I've nearly worn them out as I use them constantly. But I have NEVER dropped them. Why would someone do that??? :) I wouldn't buy a pen or a Leica based upon its resistance to being crashed onto the floor. If that were true, I would never own an M6 as a moderate bump will knock the vertical RF alignment. I happen to like my M6's and Mont Blancs because of their looks, options available, and performance. And yes, it is a matter of personal preference. Oh No! That dreaded pen/watch/motorcycle thread!!!
